EDRG 3321 Chapter 10 Reading Aloud

In this chapter we learn about read aloud. And I agree a read aloud book does engage the student to pay more attention to the teacher. I remember loving to hear my teacher read to us those big books, and even the little books were interesting. Because when the teacher read to use she made each character come alive with different voices and expressions in her face. And I believe that if a teacher gets in character and acts silly does different emotions and plays with the story the students love it and they will remember the story as well. However, read alouds are an excellent way of engaging students to read and enjoy reading. And after reading the teachers should discuss the story and ask questions on what they though the story met to them.
