EDRG 3344 Chapter 7/ Memory
The day that we went over chapter seven which talked about listening. I really enjoyed it, because I like the game we did and it is actually a good game to play in a classroom with students. Because its a good way to entertain and engage the student to think about the details and of course pay very close attention to what is being described. However, when we did the memory assignment it was also a great way of letting out ones memories. I for example one memory that I would call my precious as gold would be when I graduated Palo Alto this passed May. It's precious to me because I'm the first child in my family to go to college and finish a part of it. And I can just remember my parents happy faces when they saw me walking the stage it was like a magic moment for them seeing their daughter walking the stage with her first degree. And till this day I remember my parents faces and that makes me want to go to school to keep achieving my goals of becoming a bilingual teacher one day. And just to present my parents with the degree of teaching from Texas A&M to my parents when I walk the stage in about a year and a half. So I believe I have lots of good and bad memories, but no matter what sometimes memories help us become a better person in life.

Congratulations on graduating from Palo Alto!!! When I finish, I too will be the first in my family. I attending the University of Arkansas right out of high school in the early 90s, but never finished. I have kicked myself for @ 20 years for quitting in my Junior Year. Stupid huh? I think my family had counted me out...but here I am! Never too old I guess. Good luck on your A&M journey and I wish you all the best!!!!
